Joshua Rigg holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from SOAS, University of London. His PhD thesis, drawing on extensive fieldwork in Tunisia, examines the role of social movements in shaping the countries transitional politics. Rigg specializes in the contemporary politics of Tunisia, contentious politics in the MENA region and global political thought.
